Senior Eating Disorder Specialist

Mental health clinicians play a vital role in supporting individuals with eating disorders. This position is part of the NSW Service Plan for People with Eating Disorders, which aims to build and strengthen pathways to care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide clinical consultation liaison and capacity building services to patients and their families. They will undertake intensive short-term care coordination using a multi-systemic approach and deliver evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide adult eating disorders clinical consultation liaison and capacity building to healthcare providers
- Deliver intensive short-term care coordination using a multi-systemic approach with carers and patients/families
- Deliver evidence-based short-term interventions (individual and group)
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to mental health clinicians
The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with eating disorders and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and provide high-quality patient care.
