Job Title: Budget Analyst

About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting various tasks related to the Commonwealth Budget process.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing budget submissions and statements;
  • Coordinate liaison with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Work autonomously to achieve outcomes and manage workflows;
  • Analyse and advise on key issues related to Defence budget.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong initiative and sound judgement;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Able to produce quality work within short time frames;
  • Interpersonal skills and analytical ability;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge of Cabinet processes.
Working Environment

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-priority issues and collaborate with other agencies.

Preferred Qualification

Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) clearance is preferred but candidates with Baseline security clearance are also encouraged to apply.
