Job Title: Strategic Financial Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Director to join our organization. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing budget management strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement budget management strategies and plans
  • Deliver budgets to support resourcing and execution of activities across the agency
  • Provide clear and concise strategic budget and financial management advice
  • Enable financial business partnering functions
  • Timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasting and insights on financial results, budgets and resource allocation
  • Leadership and direction of a team
  • Implementation of best practice budget management and reporting policy, systems and processes
  • Exercising strong leadership and direction

Requirements:
  • Ability to assess, develop, implement and evaluate budget management strategies, initiatives, policies and procedures
  • Analyse budget outcomes and prepare robust and reliable forecasts and insights to inform decision making
  • Engage and influence senior leaders and budget managers
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build team capacity and capability
  • A 'can-do' attitude
