News Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic News Producer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging and accurate news content, working closely with reporters in the field to coordinate live crosses and liaise with editors to assemble viz elements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compelling news copy and edit vision to create captivating and informative news content.
- Produce high-quality graphic elements using VIZ, including straps, supers and overlays.
- Cut LVOs and grabs using Quantel to enhance visual storytelling.
- Build news graphics to support coverage and provide visual context to viewers.
- Liaise with reporters to coordinate live crosses and ensure seamless integration into news programming.
- Assist editors in assembling field packages and integrate viz elements to create a polished product.
- Write news lines for the on-air ticker to keep viewers informed.
- Oversee line-production of rundowns from the control room to ensure smooth execution.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing and editing skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Sound editorial judgement and ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Quantel and ENPS a definite asset.
