Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Cloud Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions across various Azure services.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop Azure-based solutions that align with business objectives, technology strategies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and create standards, strategies, and roadmaps for seamless migration to Azure.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to ensure Azure environments meet compliance requirements and safeguard data and applications.
  • Support teams in migrating solutions to the Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zone Framework.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate solution designs to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cloud Architecture role with hands-on solution design, governance, policy enforcement, and development of architecture standards, templates, and patterns.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure support/administration, with proven capability working in hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, BICEP), automation, scripting, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, application readiness assessments, server builds, data migration, and performance tuning, working within Agile and DevOps environments.
