About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) professional to lead the SHE function for IHG in Tasmania. As SHE Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, servicing and safeguarding our business in relation to safety, health and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Coach and develop IHG TAS site leaders in SHE engagements, critical risk reviews, incident and injury management, and general safety matters.
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the SHE Management System.
• Support IHG sites to operate within the Metcash SHE Management System, using templates and tools.
• Participate in SHE compliance audits and support site leadership in conducting annual management reviews of the SHE Management System.
• Support the preparation of monthly IHG SHE performance reports and facilitate SHE-related training at Tasmanian sites.
• Monitor IHG TAS incidents and ensure incident management protocols are followed.

You'll be a great fit if you have
• Tertiary qualifications in SHE or a related discipline, such as legal or sciences.
• Understanding of relevant Australian and New Zealand safety, health and environmental legislation, including national heavy vehicle legislation and CoR.
• ICAM investigation training and certification.
• Experience working in a warehouse or retail environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and achieve outcomes through collaboration and influence.
