Nurse Health and Wellbeing Specialist

About the Role:
The Staff Health Nurse role is a critical position within our healthcare team at Calvary Launceston. This permanent, part-time position involves working 3 shifts per fortnight and requires a Registered Nurse/Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing staff health and immunisation services to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the staff health database to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborating with the ICP Coordinator to implement best practice standards in staff health and safety.
- Conducting pre-employment staff health screenings and ensuring compliance with staff health policies.
About You:
- Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Current Immunization/Vaccination Certificate or working towards.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues, medical practitioners, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and build strong working relationships within the team.
- Demonstrates a commitment to best practice in staff health and safety.
