Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Management: Oversee work orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and budget constraints.
  • Unit Preparation: Facilitate the turnover of vacant units by conducting thorough inspections, coordinating repairs, and guaranteeing quality outcomes.
  • Facility Standards: Uphold superior cleanliness and aesthetic standards across the property.
  • Contractor Oversight: Manage and evaluate contractor performance to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • Financial Management: Administer budgets, anticipate financial requirements, and control inventory within established limits.
  • Preventive Strategies: Develop and implement regular maintenance schedules, ensuring all statutory checks and safety inspections are current.
  • Team Leadership: Direct a team of Maintenance Technicians, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Emergency Management: Provide on-call support for emergencies, resolving issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Client Relations: Deliver outstanding customer service, promptly addressing resident inquiries and concerns.

Organizational Duties:

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Foster a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee that operations comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Project Coordination: Manage maintenance projects, ensuring timely execution within budgetary constraints.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of relevant licenses and certifications, along with a valid driver's license.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, project oversight, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is advantageous.
