The role of a Disability Support Worker is to empower individuals living with disability to live with dignity, achieve their goals, and participate meaningfully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centred support that is compassionate, respectful, and tailored to the unique needs of each participant.
  • Assist with daily activities such as personal care, domestic assistance, and community access.
  • Transport participants to community activities, if required.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) – current and valid.
  • Current Police Check – issued within the last 3 years.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate – within 3 years, and CPR – within 1 year.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – 'Quality, Safety and You'.
