We are currently seeking an Animal Care Specialist to join our organization. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for providing exceptional care and attention to animals in need.

Job Responsibilities
  • Animal Welfare: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing food, water, and health checks to the animals in their care.
  • Enrichment Activities: They will also be tasked with supervising groups of dogs, managing their behavior, and providing enrichment through play and scheduled activities.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of the facility will be required to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
  • Communication: Building rapport with pet owners through feedback and transparency will be essential for this role.
  • Administrative Tasks: Daily administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, record keeping, and data entry in booking systems, will also be a key responsibility.

Key Requirements:

  • Availability: The ideal candidate must be available to work flexible hours between 7am-6pm, Monday through Sunday.
  • Work Ethic: A strong work ethic is essential, as the role can be physically demanding.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is crucial, particularly when it comes to animal care and welfare.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work well in a team environment is vital for success in this role.
