Maintenance Officer

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring the general upkeep of our centres and maintaining a safe environment for retailers, customers, and the general public. This involves working closely with the Operations Manager to identify and address any maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake tasks as required via centre request or Vicinity maintenance system, ensuring compliance with Vicinity policies and legislative requirements.
- Repair and maintain internal and external structures, carparks, signage, road works, and gates.
- Maintain and service retailer facilities within the centre, including staff toilets and loading docks.
- Ensure centre lighting is maintained internally and externally.
- Assist with centre minor capital expenditure programs.
- Engage suitably qualified contractors for more substantial works.
We're seeking a candidate with previous experience in general maintenance tasks, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a sound knowledge of Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and efficient in their work, with a positive attitude and a commitment to enhancing our customer experience.
