About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Parts and Overhauls team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of Train and Tram Fleets from across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment repairs and overhauls to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our trains and trams.
  • Troubleshoot and functional test rail equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform self-inspection of railway car components to identify defects and ensure quality.
  • Work closely with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Organise work instruction documents, tools, and railway car parts daily.

  • Certificate III Electrotechnology.
  • A current A Grade Electrical Licence.
