About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Parts and Overhauls team in Ballarat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of Train and Tram Fleets from across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment repairs and overhauls to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and commission rail equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct self-inspections of railway car components to identify defects and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Organize work instruction documents, tools, and railway car parts daily.
Requirements
  • Be an agile and adaptable team player with a strong commitment to reliability and teamwork.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
  • Experience in rail equipment/fleet maintenance is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III Electrotechnology is a must.
  • A current A Grade Electrical Licence is required.
