About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Parts and Overhauls team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of Train and Tram Fleets from across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment repairs and overhauls to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and functional test rail equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct self-inspections of railway car components to identify defects and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Organize work instruction documents, tools, and railway car parts daily.
About You

  • Be an agile and adaptable team player, reliable, committed, and happy to help where required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical diagrams and drawings.
  • Experience in rail equipment/fleet maintenance will be highly regarded.
  • Certificate III Electrotechnology.
  • A current A Grade Electrical Licence.
