Your New Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team as a key member in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in developing personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation, working closely with clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans that address the unique needs of each individual, incorporating evidence-based practices and best clinical judgement.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments, to identify potential return-to-work pathways.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills, clinical expertise, and knowledge of injury management to facilitate the return to work of claimants, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Present case information and provide credible recommendations to drive desired goals, ensuring seamless communication with various stakeholders.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology.
  • Appropriate registration with ASORC, AHPRA, or ESSA (discipline-specific).
  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel.
