Job Description: Rehabilitation Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team and play a vital role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors.

  • Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation.
  • Conduct assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
  • Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return-to-work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones.
  • Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Appropriate registration with ASORC.
  • Current driver's license and car.
