Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily communication with Regional Security Managers, Data Centre Security Managers, client security representatives, certifying authorities, and other relevant personnel.
- Provide comprehensive security oversight throughout the construction phase to ensure delivery of fit-for-purpose facilities through attendance at security assurance Hold and Witness Point inspections.
- Collate security assurance reports to the AWS Security Assurance Teams. Document and track security-related issues and incidents.
- Manage, respond to, and record any security issues or incidents occurring throughout the construction phase as per the Security Response Plan.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with project security requirements, proactively identifying potential security risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the construction phase.
- Facilitate meetings with clients, resolve issues, and report on matters relating to security compliance.
- Bring a high-level attention to detail and meticulous process-driven approach.
- Hold relevant security clearances and accreditations as per project requirements. Experience in construction security oversight or related fields is highly desirable.
As a Project Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing physical security in line with client security requirements and the project security plan. This involves communicating effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed, and maintaining a secure environment throughout the construction phase.
Job Requirements:
Security ExpertiseThe ideal candidate should possess strong security expertise, including knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and incident response. They should also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a high level of integrity.
