Facility Security Manager, Data Centre Security
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Facility Security Manager to join our team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the field of data centre security.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operations at our data centres, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are followed. This includes managing a team of security personnel, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also have experience working with government agencies and private sector organizations, and must possess a strong understanding of physical security systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of uniformed security officers and manage the day-to-day security operations at our data centres.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies and private sector organizations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations staff, engineers, and teammates, to ensure effective security operations.
- Expertise in physical security systems, including facility security installations, surveillance systems, and electronic access control systems.
- Proven track record of growth and increasing responsibility in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively employ a third-party guard force in a dynamic operating environment.
- Ability to influence business partners and supporting teams.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
