Northern Beaches Hospital is a contemporary health facility, located 13kms north of Sydney CBD. The hospital provides a wide range of health services to the local community, including surgery, emergency care, intensive care, and outpatients.
The Emergency Department at Northern Beaches Hospital is a critical area that requires efficient and effective administration. As an ED Admin Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Your main function will be to ensure timely registration of patients, greet and welcome them, and direct them to the appropriate area or person. You will also be responsible for maintaining a tidy and presentable reception desk at all times.
- Register patients efficiently and effectively
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors
- Distribute information to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate records and reports
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. A Certificate III in Health Administration or relevant experience is highly desirable.
This is a part-time role with a rotating 24/7 roster. If you are a team player with excellent administrative skills, we encourage you to apply.
