About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Evolution Mining. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, advice, training, and practical support for all health and safety aspects in our open-cut mining, underground mining, and ore processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety strategies, systems, and plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to operational personnel on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of return-to-work programs for employees with workplace injuries.
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to ensure effective health and safety management outcomes.
Requirements
  • Workplace Health and Safety Diploma qualifications or higher.
  • Return to Work Certification (preferred).
  • National competencies in Confined Space, Working Safely at Height, and High-Risk Work licenses advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years WH&S experience in mining or relevant heavy industries.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and INX.
  • Competent in writing and reviewing management plans, procedures, work method statements, and other WH&S related system documentation.
