About the Role

We are seeking a Fire Response Specialist to join our team at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. As a key member of our auxiliary firefighting unit, you will play a vital role in responding to emergency incidents and promoting community safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a dedicated team.
  • Promote community education activities to enhance emergency preparedness and response.
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular training sessions and drills.
  • Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner.
  • Contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities and ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment.
  • Support incident reporting and general station administration as required.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a range of benefits, including paid training and certification opportunities, access to state-of-the-art equipment, and a supportive team environment.
