Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sarina Auxiliary Fire Service Professional to join our team at Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving their community and making a difference in times of emergency. As a Sarina Auxiliary Fire Service Professional, you will play a vital role in providing fire and rescue services to the community, working closely with our experienced team members to respond to emergency situations and promote community safety and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and other emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and awareness activities
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses
  • Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
