About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Building Reinstatement Estimator to join our team in the Ballarat region. As an ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in estimating and insurance building, with excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs for building reinstatement works at various sites
  • Interpret scope of works provided by consultants and create scope of works documents when required
  • Collaborate with supervisors to achieve set budgets and build new relationships with key insurance personnel
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements
  • Travel around Ballarat and surrounding areas as needed

Requirements:

  • Building Trade or Construction Qualification
  • Estimating/Insurance Building background (ideal but not essential)
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a sound work ethic
  • Current motor vehicle licence and willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check where required

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
