About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate production estimates for new residential home projects.

  • Create detailed estimates for new home projects, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Liaise with suppliers to prepare material take-offs and raise purchase orders
  • Action any variations or changes to contracts, maintaining up-to-date master BOQs and Databuild price files
  • Provide support and training to other members of the estimating team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an estimator in the residential building industry, preferably with local Queensland experience
  • Experience with one-off, architecturally designed homes, with the ability to handle a high-volume workload
  • A strong focus on attention to detail and sound construction knowledge
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Databuild experience is essential
