Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Sovereign Hill Hotel.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the business to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Participate in projects and working groups relevant to the Sovereign Hill Hotel.
  • Foster strong relationships with local businesses, event organisers, and tourism operators.
  • Implement effective cost management strategies to ensure maintenance, consumables, housekeeping, and labour expenses are kept within budget.
  • Promote a commercially driven culture within the team, emphasising both operational excellence and revenue growth.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Managerial experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in the accommodation sector with experience in working with online booking platforms and booking management systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to deal positively and efficiently with customers.
  • Strong service excellence ethic and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to implement new systems, processes and procedures.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
