Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scientist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a dynamic environment performing various scientific tasks.

• Performing routine procedures from specimen reception to result execution for pathological diagnosis
• Assisting with stock control and maintaining current scientific knowledge
• Compliance with records maintenance and results recording in line with protocols
• Maintaining equipment and operating in accordance with protocols
• Participating in quality assurance activities and contributing to continuous improvement

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree
• Demonstrated experience and skills within the scientific discipline
• Sound knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
• Able to identify, develop, and implement quality and service improvement activities
• High degree of independence and infrequent supervision required
