Lead Middle School Visionary

We are seeking a visionary and innovative leader to drive academic excellence, foster student growth and engagement, and shape a strategic, sustainable future for the school community.

As a member of the school executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the middle school (Years 5-8) to ensure its programs across teaching and learning, co-curricular, wellbeing and administration perform effectively and in alignment with the school's vision, mission, values, and strategic commitments.

The ideal candidate will champion and sustain an outstanding learning culture across the middle school, including delivering a curriculum that develops students to become confident learners and responsible young people.

They will inspire staff to be leaders of learning and encourage a strong culture of innovation and collaboration in professional practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the middle school team to achieve school goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes
  • Champion and sustain an outstanding learning culture across the middle school
  • Inspire staff to be leaders of learning and encourage a strong culture of innovation and collaboration

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
  • Highly developed strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
