About the Opportunity

This is a temporary part-time position (3 days per week) with potential for extension or permanency. The ideal candidate will be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, capable of committing to the role's long-term prospects.

Responsibilities:
  • Minimize credit risk by effectively managing accounts receivable volume and outstanding periods.
  • Proactively maintain customer master data to ensure accurate information.
  • Monitor and measure compliance and performance of accounts receivable, striving to improve cash flow.
  • Ensure adherence to the Credit Management Policy and minimize overdue balances.
  • Closely monitor and reduce the balance exceeding 60+ days.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine order release strategies, minimizing collection risk.
  • Handle customer interactions, resolving queries and related questions efficiently.
  • Perform monthly SAP reconciliation and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in cross-functional tasks, collaborating with the offshore team.
Ideal Profile

We seek an experienced professional with a strong background in end-to-end Accounts Receivable/Credit functions and accounting principles. Key qualifications include:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in credit management.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills for effective customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency for data analysis.
  • Strong time management and accuracy skills.
  • Able to work autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
