Schools Grounds and Facilities Coordinator
About the Role:The Schools Grounds and Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities of a school to a high standard. This includes performing routine tasks such as general maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic upkeep.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Support the efficient operation and presentation of the school by maintaining the grounds and facilities.
- Perform a variety of routine tasks including general maintenance, groundskeeping, and basic upkeep.
- Assist with non-routine tasks under supervision.
- Support security duties at the school including using and maintaining school security systems.
- Bank school funds and assist with locking and unlocking buildings within core hours.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow clear instructions and maintain a safe working environment.
This is a part-time position working 5 hours per week at a 0.13 FTE for a period of 12 months. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.
