We are seeking to engage an APS5 Finance Business Partner on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising project sponsors, directors, and teams on acquisition budgets, including affordability and real cost changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise project sponsors, directors, and teams on acquisition budgets, including affordability and real cost changes.
  • Foster collaboration between project input and the budget cycle, ensuring project approvals, budgets, forecasts, and phasing are aligned.
  • Provide independent analysis and advice on program/project financial performance, risk, and opportunities.
  • Monitor and advise on project financial structures, accounting treatments, and complex transactions.
  • Ensure financial accounting oversight and support for projects, including asset valuations, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Coordinate and provide financial inputs for project reporting to senior defence committees and ministerial briefings.

Essential Requirements:
