Job Description:

This is a part-time weekend content creator role at Nine Entertainment, where you will be responsible for producing digital stories across various categories. The successful candidate will work independently on weekend shifts to deliver engaging content that connects with our audience and helps the editorial team meet their targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce an average of four high-quality digital stories per shift, ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand tone.
  • Stay up-to-date with the news cycle and be prepared to adapt when major news breaks.
  • Ensure social media posts are created with best practices in mind.
  • Work collaboratively with the editorial team to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a digital newsroom environment.
  • A deep understanding of what resonates with young Australians.
  • Familiarity with the news cycle and online conversations.
  • A unique tone of voice or perspective.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in media, communications, journalism, or design (preferred).
  • Experience in social media management, including platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube (desired).
