
Experienced Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team in maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for workshop repairs and maintenance, new machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality. Key responsibilities include:
- Workshop repairs and maintenance
- New machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection
- Customer satisfaction
- Safety / Quality
- Cross-functional support
Main Responsibilities:
- Fault finding, repairs, and services including but not limited to:
- Diesel engines
- Fuel systems
- Steering systems
- Transmissions
- Brake systems
- Hydraulic valves and cylinders
- Electrical starting, charging, and accessories
- Service and diagnostic repairs
- Liaise with the spare parts team to determine the parts required for repairs
- To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
- To process workshop service/repair documentation daily
- Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with the requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation
- Other duties as directed
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal relationship and customer focused skills, good verbal and written communication skills, warm Personality and open minded, self-motivated, good technical background experience, hard worker, practical personality, solid analysing and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical problems, good Team spirit, experience working in a small team is an advantage, person who wants to participate strongly in the development of a growing business.
