Job Description

The metropolitan road network requires diligent maintenance and upkeep, encompassing routine activities, repairs, and asset inspections. Key responsibilities include stewardship of transport infrastructure assets to ensure safe functioning and optimal delivery of services.

  • Transport infrastructure asset management for secure operation and service excellence;
  • Execution of road furniture repairs, debris removal, incident response, graffiti removal, facility servicing, vegetation control, and vacant property management;
  • Provision of asset inspections, defect logging, corridor management, and maintenance recommendations;
  • Delivery of minor works as an extension of maintenance activities with short duration and low complexity;
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster with varying start and finish times, applicable penalty rates apply;
  • Availability to undertake on-call arrangements;
  • Highly desirable qualifications include: Truck Mounted Attenuator qualification, Traffic Management Implementation qualification, MR Drivers Licence, High risk Work Licence (forklift), and experience working on high-speed, high-volume roads.
