Job Description:

Key Responsibilities Include Operating and Maintaining Road Infrastructure.

  • Operating backhoes as primary equipment
  • Operating additional plant and equipment as needed within the scope of training and licenses
  • Conducting daily pre-start inspections on relevant plant and equipment
  • Reporting any defects, safety concerns or issues related to machinery or ongoing projects

This role requires a proactive approach to equipment operation with strong commitment to safety protocols. As part of our operational maintenance team you will be involved in road shoulder and drainage maintenance.

The ideal candidate will bring experience operating backhoes in similar environments, proficiency in handling medium-sized plant items typically used in civil construction and maintenance projects. Additionally they must possess:

  • A current heavy rigid truck licence (HR class)
  • A Construction Induction card
  • Certification to operate a Backhoe (LB)
