Equipment Maintenance Specialist
About the Role:
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment. As a skilled maintenance professional, your key focus will be on scheduling routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and addressing defects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repairs – Ensure that all plant equipment is properly maintained and repaired to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.
- Scheduling – Coordinate with the Fixed Plant Maintenance Lead to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
- Safety & Compliance – Adhere to all relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and client contract obligations.
- Inspections – Conduct regular inspections of fixed and mobile plant equipment to identify defects and address them promptly.
- Record Keeping – Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports to site management as required.
- Communication – Utilize two-way radios professionally, adhering to established communication protocols.
Requirements:
- Trade Qualification in Fixed Plant.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Mandatory Certifications – EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights, and White Card.
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable).
- FLS Stockpile Conveyor System Operation Experience (Desirable).
