Support Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and patient individual to provide essential support to clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care assistance to clients, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Accompanying clients to appointments and engaging with them in community activities
- Shopping for and with clients, ensuring they have access to necessary goods and services
- Participating in sleep over shifts to ensure the well-being and safety of clients
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with dementia clients is highly regarded
- Own fully insured vehicle required for work-related travel
- Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoon, day, evening, night shifts, public holidays, and weekends
- NDIS Worker Screening Card (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred)
