Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Training Development Officer to join our team at The State of Queensland. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of training programs for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the development of training packages for the whole-of-centre workforce for Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies and plans to address training risks and issues.
  • Work with the Project Manager (Training) to ensure the successful and on-time development of training packages.
  • Undertake day-to-day work within a multi-disciplinary team in a high-volume environment with competing demands.
  • Ensure project team members are equipped with the skills, capability, and knowledge to effectively undertake training development, delivery, and assessment validation activities.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in training development and delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to training development and delivery.
