Lead Poultry Farm Specialist Position

The role of lead poultry farm specialist is available at a leading Australian poultry farm.

The successful candidate will oversee the health and welfare of animals, provide adequate nutrition and monitor their needs, oversee general farming activities, maintain fences and equipment, and record all farming operations.

This position requires a team player who is experienced in poultry farming and has extensive knowledge of breeds, housing, feed, and animal healthcare.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Animal health and welfare management
  • Nutrition and feed management
  • Overseeing general farming operations
  • Maintaining fencing and equipment
  • Recording all farming operations

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Poultry Production or higher qualification, have proven experience as a poultry farmer, and hold extensive knowledge of poultry breeds, housing, feed, and animal healthcare.
