Mathematics Specialist

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to lead Maths lessons at a vibrant secondary school in Clare, Australia.

• Design and deliver engaging Maths curricula for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and record assessments accurately.
• Establish a supportive learning environment that fosters student participation and achievement.
• Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential in Mathematics.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and implement effective teaching practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extra-curricular activities and events.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Maths curriculum and best teaching practices.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching the subject.
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.
• A proactive approach to lesson planning and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
