Health, Safety and Environmental Expert

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environmental expert to join our team. This role will provide health and safety expertise to clients and support internal teams via account support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contractor health, safety and environmental documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps in regard to regulatory requirements.
  • Research, develop and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislation.
  • Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and/or other HSE documentation.
  • Coordinate various product development and implementation initiatives.
  • Serve as health and safety subject matter expert with prospective and existing clients.
  • Proactively analyze processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Support and participate in the organization's Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives.
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management.
  • Up to 25% travel for work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience.

Onsite Requirements:

  • Employees must be within a commutable distance to the office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings.
  • Employees are required to be in-person during training and at least 3 days per week on an ongoing basis.
