Key Responsibilities
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health recognized by Environmental Health Australia.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Possess knowledge and skills in the regulation of retail food businesses under the Food Act 2003 and Food Regulation Partnership with NSW Food Authority.
  • Legislative Awareness: Have a working knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, guidelines, and standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate ability to solve problems, investigate complaints, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Show demonstrated report and letter writing skills and clear communication skills.
  • Certifications: Hold a current class C driver license.

Desirable Criteria
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a similar role.
