About the Role

As a Test Automation Architect at Infosys Limited, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing enterprise-level automation strategies for our clients. This involves designing and implementing best-in-class test automation frameworks, reviewing existing automation models, and suggesting improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test automation strategies for large-scale enterprises
  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using various tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TOSCA, and UFT
  • Review and improve existing automation models and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, and Perl
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and Git Hub
  • Work with Agile and DevOps teams to drive the shift left in new ways of working
  • Develop and maintain test data management and test environment management strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on test automation and quality engineering
  • Expertise in API/Microservices testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman
  • Experience with industrializing BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity, and Playwright-BDD
  • Strong knowledge of UI automation tools like Selenium, UFT One, and Playwright
  • Experience with scripting and development using languages like Java, J2 EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, and Python
  • Unit testing frameworks like Test NG, Junit, and mocking solutions
  • Code coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, and Sonar
  • Continuous integration systems like Jenkins and Bamboo
  • Collaboration and project management tools like JIRA, Rally, ALM, and Bitbucket
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with latest trends in Quality Engineering space, like RPA, Analytics driven testing, and usage of AI/ML in QA
  • Knowledge on Gen AI tools like Git Hub Copilot and its adoption within enterprises
  • Knowledge on Playwright Automation Tool
  • Good experience on mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others
