We are seeking a Night Operations Coordinator to assist in leading our Front Office overnight team at our Melbourne hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the Front Office overnight team to ensure smooth operation during night hours
  • Drive team engagement, guest feedback, and problem resolution
  • Maintain brand and cleanliness standards
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve exceptional guest experience
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of night audit function
  • Safety and security of guests is a primary responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as improving guest satisfaction and maintaining high standards. They will also be required to work weekends and evenings across a 7-day roster.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in hospitality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident problem handling
  • Problem solving, training, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera
  • Experience working in a large hotel in a Front Office environment
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • A proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload
  • Flexible to work weekends and evenings
  • Valid VIC Drivers License and VIC RSA certification
  • First Aid certified
  • Meet the legal requirements to live and work in Australia
