About the Role


South East LLS is seeking a Senior NRM Advisor to drive priority landscapes and threatened species projects throughout the region.



Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with landholders to lead on-ground priority projects and identify new project opportunities
  • Provide leadership and support to small project teams
  • Manage major natural resource management and agricultural productivity projects
  • Negotiate and resolve complex issues
  • Implement land management legislation and assess related applications
  • Deliver emergency planning, preparedness, response, and recovery services
  • Develop partnerships and collaboration
  • Monitor, evaluate, report, and improve programs and contribute to strategic planning


Requirements

  • A degree in agriculture, environmental science, natural resource management, biosecurity, or emergency management, or equivalent industry knowledge and experience
  • A passion for natural resource management
  • The ability to work closely with landowners and community groups
  • Knowledge of landscapes and threatened species
  • Demonstrated project management experience combined with relationship management and partnership development
  • A current NSW Driver Licence and capacity to travel throughout the region
