Job Overview:

We are seeking a Surveillance Officer to join our team in Sydney, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil works conducted by Transport NSW and our industry partners.

About the Role:

  • Act as a site representative for road projects
  • Manage and oversee civil works conducted by Transport NSW and industry partners
  • Attend daily pre-starts, report on project progress and complete quality, safety, & environmental surveillance
  • Collaborate with delivery partners, industry partners and internal stakeholders across engineering, environment, technical, safety and quality to ensure successful project outcomes

About You:

  • Previous experience working in construction surveillance or as a Civil Construction Supervisor / foreman
  • Experience and understanding of different road pavement types including concrete pavement
  • Previous experience on highway/motorway road construction projects, or other major infrastructure projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good understanding of specifications & procedures
  • Ability to work night shifts in line with project requirements
