Strategic Leader for Wholesale and Specialty Liquidations

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic leader to manage our wholesale and specialty liquidations business in APAC. As a program manager, you will be responsible for building and managing a robust vendor network to sell our liquidation quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the Liquidation business and financial performance, input, defect metrics.
  • Owning the commercial agreements with liquidation vendor business-2-business (B2B customers).
  • Conducting Request for Proposals (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyers.
  • Making business decisions to optimize recovery across channels.
  • Improving customer experience for buyers.
  • Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectives.
  • Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
  • Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationships.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Finance and Operations partners including setting standard cadences and processes for partnership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level.
  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization.
