Job Title: Data Governance Business Analyst

Are you a data governance expert looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Business Analyst to join our team at Technology People Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Enterprise Data Governance tool, promoting data governance, quality, and literacy, and supporting the rollout of data management standards and risk training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day Atlan operations: user access, training, and feature rollouts.
  • Promote data governance, quality, and literacy.
  • Support the rollout of data management standards & risk training.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, data stewards, and tech teams.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years in IT/data management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services regulations (e.g. GDPR, CPG 235 & 234).
  • 2+ years in data governance tools (Atlan preferred) & SQL experience.

Somebody with strong communication, collaborative, great attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and is able to provide clear examples on programs of work you have been involved with, both successful and not successful. Somebody who has ran workshops. Data literacy, complex scenarios, realistic, honest, and empathetic is the experience we are looking for. Overall, someone who has been a BA focusing on Data Governance.
