Cloud Cybersecurity Leader

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a high-performance cloud cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will have a combination of troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead a team of cloud cybersecurity subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of cloud security experts and lead cloud security activities related to the security program, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate cloud security-related engagements with both internal and external customers, fostering effective communication and collaboration to address security concerns and requirements.
  • Identify cloud security packages of work and develop strategic plans for their delivery within agreed timeframes, employing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive cloud cybersecurity outcomes across the overall cloud capability, safeguarding critical assets and data against cyber threats.
  • Implement Cloud Security Compliance Frameworks into design and build baselines to achieve the agreed security posture.
  • Create, optimise, and support cross-functional working groups and projects.
  • Utilise domain expertise to develop thought leadership material on cloud and emerging technologies, contributing to industry discourse and organisational innovation in cloud cybersecurity practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of at least two of the following areas - cloud application security, cloud network security, cloud platform security, cross-domain solutions and cryptography. They will also have proficient knowledge of government cloud security frameworks, policies and standards (e.g. PSPF, ISM, DSPF, ASD Essential Eight).
