Mental Health Care Professional

The role of a Psychiatric Nurse involves delivering exceptional care to individuals in crisis, while promoting recovery-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic mental health setting
- Assessing and managing risk within the mental health setting
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance service delivery
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and carers
- Demonstrating a commitment to consumer-focused care and participation
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries
- Basic computer skills and experience using health information systems
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be based in a mental health unit, located on a hospital campus. They will have access to ongoing education and training opportunities, as well as employee benefits.
