About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families, leading to positive, life-changing outcomes in Shepparton and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapy sessions in diverse settings, including homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centers
  • Conduct initial appointments with families, utilizing assessment and communication skills to understand their needs and goals
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to support children's development and well-being
  • Provide coaching and guidance to parents and caregivers on strategies for supporting their child's growth and development
  • Document and bill for sessions through our online participant management system
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and registration (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, or Education)
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with children (aged 0-8) and their families
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with disability
  • Positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check
